University of Pavia's Foundation Year Program offers three different study areas students can choose from.
Each study area includes four core-subject courses, for a total of 300 hours of classroom instruction.
Each course is taught in Italian to give students the opportunity to acquire discipline-specific knowledge and jargon, while deepening their knowledge of the Italian language. Our courses also train and prepare students for the exams they will have to take if they choose restricted-access majors.
