The Preparatory B1 Italian Language Course for Foundation Year is an online Italian language course designed for international students with an A2 level of Italian who do not yet meet the B1 language requirement to apply for the Foundation Year.

All classes are held live online via Zoom, so you can attend the course from wherever you are.

The course includes 50 hours of Italian language training, with a focus on developing the skills you need to reach B1 level

Classes take place three days a week, with different time slots available to accommodate students from different geographical regions and time zones.

🎓 Final exam & B1 certificate
Each session concludes with a final exam assessing the language skills acquired during the course. Students who successfully pass the exam will receive a B1 Italian Language Certificate, which can be used to meet the language requirement for admission to the University of Pavia Foundation Year. Students who do not pass the final exam will not be able to confirm their admission to the Foundation Year, as B1 Italian is a mandatory entry requirement.
