The Foundation Year includes access to tutoring services that provide:
- Daily assistance via phone, email and chat
- Student support for successful integration into Italian society and academia
- Communication between students and our administrative staff
- Student support with administrative academic procedures
GIORGIA MAZZANTI
Giorgia Mazzanti obtained a Master’s Degree in Asian and African Studies at the University of Pavia. She also possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation from the University of Milan. She currently works as a tutor for Foundation Year students, mainly dealing with administrative aspects, acting as an interface between the student and the administrative offices. Giorgia speaks Italian, English, German and a little bit of Japanese and Korean.
NORA TAKROURI TAMIMI
She graduated in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics at the University of Pavia. She has been working for the Foundation Year program for three years and she has worked at the Welcome Point Office of the University of Pavia for 7 years. She deals with all kinds of problems of the Foundation Year students, also favoring their integration process both in Italy and in the university system of Pavia.
OLENA FILIPPOVA
She graduated in Modern Languages and Cultures at the University of Pavia. She continues her studies in European and American Literature. Olena supports students in their day to day life, aids with administrative issues. She speaks Russian, Ukrainian, English and Italian.
